The third grade math classroom at Central Elementary School was filled with Valentine’s Day boxes today, but they were not your typical heart and rectangle shaped candy containers.
Students learned about geometrical shapes and turned those shapes into special Valentine’s Day treat boxes. Tissue boxes, construction paper, and other craft supplies were used in the design and construction of the boxes. The students are in Salleebeth Burchette’s geometry class at the school.
