The Knox County Board of Education will accept sealed bids for the period July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, for the following goods and services:
Athletic Equipment and Services
Blacktopping and Sealer Services
Building Materials and Supplies
Bus Accessories, Cleaning Supplies, and Repair Parts
Drug Screening/Testing Services
Fire Suppression and Maintenance
HVAC/Plumbing Supplies and Service
Office and Instructional Supplies
PPE, Nursing, and Health Supplies
Septic Tank and Grease Trap Service
All bids (electronic submissions and mailed) must be received by the closing date, Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 9:00 A.M. and none will be considered thereafter. Your bid should include all the required pages and any other pertinent documents. A W-9 form is available for download.
Bids may be returned by Electronic Email Delivery to purchasing@knox.kyschools.us (preferred method) or dropped off in person or by mail in an envelope clearly designating the above reference number by certified return receipt to:

If you are sending electronically, you should request a Read Receipt when you email your bid packet.
If you are mailing, the bid should be mailed early enough to allow ample time for mail delivery. The Board of Education cannot assume the responsibility for any delay as a result of failure of the mail to deliver bids on time. Bid opening can be viewed live online at www.knoxkyschools.com by clicking on the Bid Opening link or in person at the Knox County Board of Education Annex Building at 199 Daniel Boone Drive, Barbourville, Ky. 40906 on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 10 A.M. ET.
Bids will be awarded on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 6:30 P.M. at the regularly scheduled board meeting.
The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
