Each year the Knox County Board of Education is responsible for
making available the district’s annual financial report on it’s website
and publishing a statement in the local newspaper of the location of
the documents. This year, due to a planned transition to a new
website, those documents were omitted from being loaded to the
old site which is still in use. KCPS apologizes for the oversight, as
we |transition our new site to be more informational and informative.
In the spirit of transparency and making taxpayers aware of
how we spend funding, we are publishing our balance sheets and
vendor reports in this edition of Education newsletter. In future
years you can look for this information on our website or contact
the Finance Department of Central Office for a copy of the report.
