Lynn Camp leaves their mark at State DECA

Lynn Camp students left their mark after competing at the Kentucky DECA State Career Development Conference.
Earning top honors from the judges for their marketing projects were:
1st Place, Learn and Earn Project, Mariah Parker, and Shyanne Parker
Their business plan and presentation of “LC Comfort Clothing” grabbed the approval of judges. The plan outlines a joint business venture between DECA and FCCLA to provide affordable post-surgery clothing.
3rd Place, Entrepreneurship Promotion Project, Ross Mitchell, Steven Tuttle, and Julia Shepherd
They based their submitted project based on their report and presentation of the workshop they prepared and orchestrated for middle school students.
The 2019 Outstanding Chapter Member went to Julia Shepherd for her dedication to Lynn Camp’s DECA in coordinating and assisting chapter educational and fundraising events throughout the year.
