Starting class early, freshman orientation includes games and activities to start year off

Knox Central High School Freshman Orientation Day was on August 6th, 2019, a day prior to the first official day of the school year.

The KCHS Link Crew Leadership Team and their sponsors, Terri Casey and Kim Messer, greeted the new freshman as they arrived at 8:00 a.m. and made the students feel more relaxed and comfortable about beginning their transformation into a new building and their freshman year at Knox Central.

The students were divided into teams, led by Link Crew members, and participated in a variety of games and activities that introduced them to other students and familiarized them with their new
class schedule and teachers.
