Knox Central announces application process for Rogers Scholars

Knox Central’s guidance office has announced that applications are available for the 2018 Rogers Scholars program.  This is a prestigious program that meets for one week in the summer, focusing on developing skills in leadership, technology, entrepreneurship, and community service.

Rogers Scholars accepts 60 students from the 45 county service area.  Usually schools have only one or two representatives.  Because of the highly competitive nature of this application process, stipulations that have been placed by the KCHS Guidance Office in addition to the eligibility requirements set forth in the application packet.

The school will have a presentation scheduled for October 18, 2017 for interested students and their families.  At this time, a Rogers Scholar representative will be speaking with the students, answer questions, and possibly receiving tips regarding the application process.

In order to ensure the best use of the speaker’s time, as well as the time of our students,  Knox Central is requesting that students RSVP by Tuesday, October 3.  For more information contact Charlie Collins at or via phone at 606-546-9253.
