8th grade families invited to learn about The Panther Way

To ease the transition from middle school to high school, Knox Central is hosting a parent/student night for incoming students on March 7, 9, and 13th.  Current Knox County Middle school students and their families will learn about “The Panther Way” as they begin their experience in “Panther Nation.”

On March 7th, the Blue Team from Knox Middle will be invited to participate,  March 9th the Gold Team, and March 13th the Panther Team.  Each will begin at 5pm and conclude by 6:30pm.   If you’re unable to make it on your designated night, choose an alternate date to attend.  The presentation is divided into three separate nights to allow everyone in attendance to have time for questions and individual attention.

The agenda for the evenings include:

  • Welcome and introductions
  • Scheduling
  • Academic Success
  • Career Success
  • Student Tours
  • Staff Q&A

“We will be taking some time to present how some important pieces of the puzzle are accomplished here at Knox Central,” said Jeff Frost, principal at the school.

The guidance department and other leadership team members have put together this evening for families to ensure that during the upcoming four years that everyone understands how to navigate through the high school experience.
