From the Office of District Communications:

On behalf of Superintendent Sprinkles and Transportation Director Jeff Ketcham, I am saddened to share news of the passing of bus driver and active KCPS community member Tommy Marlow.
Behind the wheel of the bus, or riding on his motorcycle, Tommy was always on the go.  He was also a “go-to” for the district, stepping up to ensure field trips were covered, technical students were to class on time, and every student was transported safely.  He will be remembered as more than a bus driver, but as a friend and caring servant that has left behind a lasting impression on countless students and colleagues.
Tommy passed away Monday morning, November 11, at his home in Himyar.  He was 63.  Arrangements are pending and will be announced by Knox Funeral Home.  A link to their obituary site is provided.
The Knox County Board of Education and our school district family are thankful for Tommy’s commitment to Knox County students.  We offer our condolences to his wife Sandy and family.
